SK Telecom to export 5G mobile edge computing technology with HPE

South Korea's SK Telecom is expanding Korea's 5G MEC (Mobile Edge Computing) technology overseas with global IT company Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE). To this end, SK Telecom signed a cooperation deal on the construction of the 'MEC Consortium' with HPE APAC and HPE Korea to provide the key 5G technology to global telecom operators.
