SK unveils new strategy, to focus on 3 next-gen platforms

South Korean operator SK Telecom has introduced its new growth strategy, which focuses on three next-generation platforms, including the Lifestyle Enhancement Platform, Advanced Media Platform and IoT Service Platform. Under the new strategy, the company said it will look at things from the user's point of view and work with diverse partners, including venture companies, startups and SMEs, to achieve performance. In addition, through the implementation of these next-generation platforms, SK Telecom and its subsidiaries expect to reach a combined total market value of KRW 100 trillion by 2018.
