Sky appoints new Head of Comedy

Sky has announced the appointment of Jon Mountague as Head of Comedy in the UK with immediate effect. He has been working as Acting Head of Comedy since September. Previously he was Commissioning Editor. Gary Davey, Managing Director, Content, said he was committed to providing customers with a wide range of quality, original content, adding that he ad reviewed the workings of the entertainment team to reflect this. As a result, Adam MacDonald, Director of Sky 1, will now take on responsibility for both Sky 1 and Sky Living. He will also look after the Pick and Challenge channel portfolio,
