Sky buys 60 percent of Jupiter Entertainment

UK satellite operator Sky has bought 60 percent of US independent production company Jupiter Entertainment, which makes on factual series, for an undisclosed amount. The investment forms part of Sky's strategy to grow a broad, international content business spanning broadcasting, production and distribution. It has corporate offices in Knoxville, Tennessee and New York City with a Los Angeles post-production satellite. Sky also has stakes in UK independent production company Love Productions and LA-based Znak & Jones.
