Sky considers possible further expansion in Europe

Thursday 5 November 2015 | 22:18 CET | News
Pay-TV company Sky will consider expanding into other markets across Europe either through its main service or online platform, Reuters reports. Sky CEO Jeremy Darroch told the Web Summit conference in Dublin that Sky's focus was very much now in Europe and that there would be other markets where it would want to operate either with Sky's OTT platform or its other platform. Sky currently serves 21 million customers in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria and Italy.
