Sky Deutschland confirms Champions League broadcasts to stop from 2021

Sky Deutschland will not broadcast the Champions League matches from the season 2021/2020, its CEO Carsten Schmid confirmed to the newspaper Bild. Sky tried until the "last minute" to find an agreement with the Uefa for an extension of the broadcasting rights, Schmid said. Sky has been a Uefa partner for the last 20 years.
