Sky Germany secures exclusive rights to air World Cup matches in UHD

Sky Germany said it has secured the exclusive rights to broadcast 25 of this summer's FIFA World Cup matches live in Ultra HD in Germany. Sky Germany said it will air the "top match" of the tournament every day, including the opening match on 14 June 2018, all of the matches featuring the German national team as well all four second-round matches, two quarter-final matches, both semifinals, the match for third place and the finale on 15 July 2018. The live broadcasts of these matches will be available on Sky Sport UHD for all Sky customers in Germany with a Sky+ Pro Receiver and a television
