Sky Germany starts media partnership with Fiat Chrysler Autos

Thursday 17 May 2018 | 14:40 CET | News
Sky Germany and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Germany have agreed to launch a cooperation between the brands Sky, Jeep and Alfa Romeo in various business divisions. The partnership includes content-marketing elements and distribution activities as well as a comprehensive media package to increase the brand relevance of Jeep and Alfa Romeo. As part of the agreement, Jeep will serve as the presenting partners for the “Sky Game of Life” campaign in which an amateur football team will have a match broadcast live 08 September.

Sky customers will also have access to specially configured models from Jeep and Alfa Romeo at a discounted price, while non-Sky customers will receive a free one-year subscriptions to Sky with the conclusion of a purchase or lease agreement with Jeep or Alfa Romeo.

The Jeep Compass was also presented in Sky’s Bundesliga Studio recently as part of a staged Augmented Reality (AR) production, the first time in Europe an advertising partner was presented in an editorial environment as part of an AR case. Jeep was integrated into the prizewinner announcement of the Sky Game of Life by having a Jeep vehicle drive into the studio from the screen via AR.

For the agreement’s B2B activities, Alfa Romeo and Jeep dealers in Germany will also be equipped with Sky Signals to broadcast all Sky sports matches, Sky Sport News HD and Top 40 music via Sky’s Jukebox partner to customers in their dealerships. Sky has also agreed to use Jeep and Alfa Romeo vehicles in its fleet of Sky and Sky Sport News HD company cars.
