Sky increases TV subscription costs

Sky will increase the cost of its TV plans by an average of GBP 2-3 per month from start-June, reports The Guardian. It will increase prices for both upgrades and TV deals, with increases of GBP 1-GBP 4.25 per month. The Complete premier package will increase by GBP 4.25 to GBP 80 a month. The cost of the basic TV package, The Original, will remain unchanged for new customers at GBP 20 a month, and increase by up to GBP 2.50 a month for existing customers. Customers will be notified of the changes by e-mail or letter between 21 March and 29 April.
