Sky invests USD 6 mln in FuboTV

Sky has invested USD 6 million in US video streaming service FuboTV, which sells a premium, OTT bundle of sports TV channels. This is part of FuboTV's Series B round of funding and is the latest in a series of Sky investments in innovative start-up companies. Launched in January 2015, FuboTV claims to be the country's second-largest aggregator and distributor of linear OTT sports content. It gained over 40,000 subscribers in 14 months.
