Sky Ireland tests consumer broadband service on Eir fibre network

Sky Ireland has started testing a consumer broadband service on Eir's fibre network, which supports speeds up to 1 Gbps, reports the Irish Independent. Sky has previously complained that Eir's pricing would make it impossible for retailers to make money from reselling access to its fibre broadband network.
