Sky Italia and Mediaset set to acquire remaining Italian Champions League packages

Sky Italia and Mediaset are poised to join Amazon and acquire Italy's remaining Uefa Champions League broadcast packages for the 2021 to 2024 cycle, reports specialist website Sports Business. Commercial broadcaster Mediaset is set to secure packages A1 and C, giving it the rights to 116 first-pick matches on Tuesdays plus exclusive live rights and highlights to the Champions League final, while pay-TV broadcaster Sky has reportedly been awarded package B, which includes exclusive rights to 104 matches per season plus delayed broadcast and other rights.
