Sky Italia customer base returns to growth after 5 years

Italian pay-TV provider Sky Italia reported full-year revenues up 2 percent to GBP 2.1 billion, including 6 percent in the three months to June, reversing two consecutive years of decline. The company's customer base returned to growth for the first time in five years, with total customers up 17,000 over the 12 months to reach a total of 4.74 million. It also added 26,000 total products in the year, including 12,000 in Q4 alone. However, operating profit fell by GBP 8 million to GBP 50 million due above all to investments in connected boxes and establishing Sky Box Sets with increased
