Sky Italia eyeing Vodafone's Duilio as new CEO - report

Monday 26 July 2021 | 08:54 CET | News
Italian broadcaster Sky Italia is considering the appointment of Vodafone Italia's consumer business head Andrea Duilio as its new chief executive after Maximo Ibarra stepped down in April, according to two unnamed industry sources cited by Reuters. Ibarra joined Sky from Dutch operator KPN in October 2019 and oversaw the launch of the broadcaster's fibre-optic broadband service in Italy last year, subsequently leaving to join IT services and fintech company Engineering Ingegneria Informatica.
