Sky Italia to cut further EUR 150 million - report

Pay-TV provider Sky Italia, which announced cuts amounting to EUR 100 million in its 2013-14 spending review, is now looking to slash a further EUR 150 million, according to a report in online daily Lettera 43. Faced with a 2 percent drop in income and a 7 percent increase in costs over the past four years, the company's executive vice president for operations and business Pietro Maranzana is seeking the advice of Deloitte in drawing up a new plan under the name Genesis to make further savings amounting to EUR 150 million over the next two years.
