Sky New Zealand upgrades MTV Music and National Geographic channels to HD

Pay-TV operator Sky New Zealand has switched the MTV Music and National Geographic channels to HD format. To date, 50 channels have been upgraded to HD, Sky also said. To access these HD channels, Sky customers need a HD-capable TV. Then users can access HD with an HDMI cord from their Sky box to their TV.
