Sky to double original content production with new Sky Studios unit

Sky announced plans to more than double its investment in original productions over the next five years, supported by the new Sky Studios development and production unit. The increased spending follows the takeover of the European pay-TV operator by Comcast, which is providing its backing for the original production.
