Sky to live broadcast more content on Facebook

Sky plans to live broadcast a large amount of content on Facebook Live in the coming months. In a blog posting, Digital Director Lucien Bowater said that this would provide a unique behind the scenes look at some major sporting events, and breaking news stories. He added that Sky has seen impressive results in tests of the technology, with more than 100,000 people viewing Michael Atherton's exclusive interview with Freddie Flintoff and Kumar Sangakkara at the T20 World Cup in less than 24 hours since its release.
