
Sky is making changes to its TV channels and on-demand destinations to make it easier for UK customers to find programmes and discover news shows.
From 01 September, the Sky One brand will be withdrawn and replaced with the new Sky Showcase flagship brand. It will also launch a new service called Sky Max. The newly-branded Sky Showcase channel will be a linear only main event channel with a selection of top shows from across Sky's entertainment brands. Sky Max is a linear channel and on-demand service, and will the home for Sky's blockbuster entertainment. Sky will also update Sky Comedy to become the home of Sky Original Comedy.
Sky Showcase will replace Sky One as Sky's flagship channel as 106 on the EPG. It will feature shows from across Sky's channel portfolio including Sky Witness, Sky Documentaries, Sky Nature, Sky Crime, Sky Arts, Sky Comedy, Sky Max Sky History, Sky Kids, E! and SyFy.
