Skyband selects LeoSat for service upgrade

LeoSat Enterprises, which is launching a constellation of 108 low earth orbit (LEO) communications satellites, said Saudi provider Skyband will use LeoSat to upgrade its services. LeoSat's system of low earth orbit satellites can achieve lower latency and stronger security than traditional satellite and terrestrial services. This is achieved using optical inter-satellite laser links which connect the satellites, creating fibre-like symmetry at Gigabit speeds.
