Slovak Telekom is LTE coverage leader, launches 225 Mbps

Slovak Telekom has added a number of locations to its LTE coverage map. They include Belusa, Dudince, Ilava, Krasno nad Kysucou, Medzev, Modry Kamen, Novaky, Strazske, Trencianske Teplice, Turcianske Teplice and Vrable. In those locations, customers can use the internet at 73/23 Mbps. In Bratislava and Kosice, the speed is 150/50 Mbps. The operator has provided one city, namely Nitra, with a service at 225/50 Mbps using aggregation (MIMO 2x2) in the bands 2600 MHz and 1800 MHz. The network will be launched on 25 June.
