Slovenia sees delay in 5G auction to H2 2020

Slovenia's Agency for Communication Networks and Services (Akos) announced that a 5G spectrum allocation decision should be made by the end of 2020, due to the delay in adopting the Radio Spectrum Management Strategy, instead of the planned end of June 2020. The licence prices and obligations of the operators will be known by mid-2020. The regulator expects that all operators (i.e. Telekom Slovenije, A1 Slovenija, Telemach and T-2) will participate in the auction, and the tender is not expected to restrict new entrants. Slovenia should license several bands next year, including the 700 MHz,
