Slovenia to announce 5G auction terms by year-end

Friday 5 July 2019 | 14:12 CET | News
Slovenia's Agency for Communication Networks and Services (Akos) said it will announce a public 5G auction by the end of this year, and should have issued frequencies by 30 June 2020. It will first prepare the documents. The frequencies to be awarded by Akos will be service-neutral, but in line with the 5G Action Plan, it envisages certain requirements for the construction of the 5G network, including certain population coverage obligations within certain time limits.
