Small business head at Yahoo leaves company - report

Amit Kumar, an entrepreneur who has sold two startups to Yahoo, is leaving the company, according to sources, reported re/code. Kumar has been Yahoo's vice president and general manager of small business since the company bought e-commerce app platform Lexity a little over a year ago. Before Lexity, Kumar was at semantic advertising firm Dapper, which was later bought by Yahoo. Prior to that, he worked at Yahoo for a number of years, focusing on search and semantic advertising, including inventing SearchMonkey during his tenure.
