Small ISPs get extension on new consumer info rules

Wednesday 16 December 2015 | 23:41 CET | News
The FCC has passed an exemption to the 2015 Open Internet Order, which requires broadband operators to disclose certain information to help consumers better understand what they are buying. ISPs will have to disclose information such as full monthly charges, promotional rates, data caps and network performance.
