Smaller EU operators push for wholesale roaming rules

A coalition of smaller mobile operators and MVNOs has warned the EU's proposed reform of roaming regulations is not doing enough to reduce wholesale roaming prices. The statement from the roaming coalition, which claims to represent over 35 million mobile users in Europe, comes ahead of a vote in the European Parliament's Industry, Research and Energy Committee on the roaming package on 18 March, followed by a plenary vote in Parliament 03 April.
