Smart deploys LTE-A technology at Asian Carriers Conference

Philippines mobile operator Smart Communications has introduced LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) technology in the city of Cebu. The operator initially introduced LTE-A technology in the Philippines at mid-August at the Smart Jump Center in Mandaluyong City. Smart now switched on LTE-A during the 10th Asian Carriers Conference (ACC) at Shangri-La Mactan. Hosted by PLDT, Smart, and Digital Telecommunications Philippines, the ACC is attended by over 1,500 delegates from telecoms operators around the world.
