Smartphone shipments recover, rising 22% sequentially to 348 million units worldwide - Canalys

Smartphone shipments picked up in the third quarter at 348 million units, off 1 percent year-on-year but up 22 percent on a sequential basis, according to the latest study from Canalys. Samsung kept its leading position, up 2 percent to 80.2 million units, while Huawei slipped into second place with a 23 percent decline to 51.7 million units. Xiaomi entered the top three for the first time, growing 45 percent to 47.1 million units.
