Smartphones adopted readily at Dutch high schools - survey

Smartphones have become a standard part of learning at Dutch schools, according to research by the NOS at 137 high schools. Around 85 percent of the schools use smartphones as part of the learning process. Half the schools allow students to use their phones only with permission from teachers, while a quarter have no restrictions on phone use. Ten percent require students to leave their phones at home or in their lockers during class.
