SMS traffic stabilies in Netherlands in Q2

The drop in SMS traffic in the Netherlands appears to have come to an end, according to the latest quarterly report from the ACM. In the second quarter of this year, 1.07 billion SMS were sent, compared to 1.06 billion in Q1. This is still 50 percent less than two years ago. The report also shows continued growth in mobile internet traffic, from around 11.6 billion GB in Q1 to 14.2 billion in Q2. Year-on-year, mobile internet traffic was up 83 percent.
