Snap starts Spectacles sales online

Tuesday 21 February 2017 | 09:34 CET | News
Snap has started selling its Spectacles online in the US. They were previously only available from pop-up sales points, but customers can now order them from the Spectacles by Snap website. First unveiled last September, the glasses come in a choice of three colours for USD 129.99. After tapping a button on the hinge of the glasses, they record up to 10 seconds of video from the user's viewpoint. The videos can then be sent to the Snapchat app over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, to be sent as messages.
