Snapchat growing fastest among 20-39 year-olds

Snapchat is most popular among teenagers in the Netherlands, with 72 percent of this age group having the messaging app installed in August. However, the app is growing the strongest among 20- and 30-year-olds, according to the latest Dutch Apps Market report from Telecompaper. In August, 38 percent of 20-29 year-olds had the app installed, up from 27 percent in June 2015. Among the 30-39 age group, penetration rose also by 11 percent points, from 5 to 16 percent. In total, an estimated 2.56 million Dutch consumers have Snapchat on their phones, up from 1.94 million in June 2015.
