Snapchat to pass Facebook among young adult users in the UK - eMarketer

Snapchat is expected to become more popular than Facebook this year among young adults in the UK, according to the latest study from eMarketer. The number of young adult (18-24) users in the UK is seen reaching 5 million in 2018 for Snapchat, against Facebook's 4.5 million, a figure which is down 1.8 percent from the year before. Instagram will have 4.2 million young users. The service, owned by Facebook, is growing its younger user base but Snapchat is still expected to keep its edge here over the coming years.
