SoftBank to launch fixed-rate voice plan

Japanese communications provider SoftBank plans to launch a fixed-rate voice plan for smartphone users in April. The plan will be priced at JPY 6,980 per month and combines fixed-rate voice services with its fixed-rate data plan. Customers get 1,000 calls of up to five minutes and 7 GB of data under the plan, The Nikkei reports.
