
Solorz-Zak leads bids for Polkomtel - report

Seven investors have been included on the short-list of candidates to acquire Polish mobile operator Polkomtel. The list includes TeliaSonera, Telenor, the Polish group of companies controlled by Zygmunt Solorz-Zak, as well as four consortia formed by Blackstone, KKR, Providence Equity and Bain Capital funds, reports Rzeczpospolita. Offers vary from PLN 16 to 18 billion, with Solorz-Zak offering the highest amount.
