Sonatel posts full-year EBITDA growth of 4%, customer base up 10% in 2019

Tuesday 3 March 2020 | 08:55 CET | News
Sonatel reported full-year EBITDA of XOF 482 billion, up 4.2 percent year-on-year (+4.7% on a like-for-like basis). The group said that it benefited from higher revenues and a better control of direct costs, which more than offset a negative evolution of indirect costs and exceptional charges. Revenues increased 6.3 percent to XOF 1,087 billion, supported by ongoing growth in mobile data and Orange Money (+25% and +33% respectively). On a like-for-like basis, group revenues grew 7.1 percent year-on-year.
