Sonera says 600 SIMs are used to monitor buoys, lighthouses

Telia Company's Finnish arm, Sonera, said that the Finnish Martime Transport Agency, Meritaito, uses 600 Sonera IoT SIMs on assets such as buoys and lighthouses. It said the GPS can detect buoys that have become unmoored, and sensors can monitor lighting equipment status.
