Sonera says Finns find home Wi-Fi more important than TV

Thursday 2 June 2016 | 23:19 CET | News
Sonera said the public now considers a wireless network to be a more important piece of home technology kit than a television set. It said a survey by the Taloustutkimuksen internet panel found that 53 percent of respondents considered Wi-Fi to be of great importance, compared with 39 percent giving priority to the TV. This compares with 47 percent preferring Wi-Fi in 2014 and 46 percent favouring TV.
