Sony denies report of PC joint venture with Lenovo

Sony has denied a report that it's in talks with Lenovo on a joint venture in the PC market. Sony said in a statement that it "continues to address various options for the PC business, but the press report on a possible PC business alliance between Sony and Lenovo is inaccurate". Japanese broadcaster NHL reported earlier that the two companies were considering a joint venture to take over Sony's loss-making Vaio PC business.
