Sony raises FY outlook again as gaming, music growth offset weak movie business

Sony has increased again its forecast for results in the fiscal year to March, after a strong third quarter thanks to demand for its gaming and music products. The company now expects annual sales of JPY 8.8 trillion, up from a forecast of JPY 8.5 trillion in October and a result of JPY 8.26 trillion last year. In the third quarter, revenues rose 9 percent to JPY 2.7 trillion.
