Sony to adopt new corporate governance structure
Sony (Japan), consumer electronics and entertainment group, has announced plans to introduce a new corporate governance structure which complies with stricter US standards. The company plans to set up a committee-based structure to replace its audit system, with the majority of committee members to be independent directors.
