Sony to offer Playstation games on Samsung smart TVs

Wednesday 24 December 2014 | 13:49 CET | News
Sony announced that its Playstation streaming service will be available on Samsung smart TVs. Customers with connected Samsung TVs in the US and Canada will be able next year to stream games over the PlayStation Now service, Cnet reports. There is no need for a PlayStation console, but they do need to acquire a Sony Dualshock controller and download the Playstation app. Over 200 PS3 games are available on the streaming service. Sony did not give an exact date for launching the service, but said it should be available in H1.
