Sony Pictures Television Networks and America Movil have signed an agreement to launch Sony's Crackle subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service on the Claro Video platform throughout Latin America. The launch country for the service is Mexico, with Claro Video subscribers able to access ad-free Crackle content, including full original series and movies in high definition available across multiple platforms including smartphone apps, smart TVs and desktop browsers. Crackle costs MXN 49 (around USD 2.50) a month, payable via credit card or the customer's Telmex, Telnor or Telcel account.
