South Africa Competition Commission confirms deal with Telkom over IP Connect pricing

South Africa's Competition Commission has confirmed an agreement with Telkom regarding pricing of its wholesale IP Connect product, ITWeb reported. They have agreed on a substantial reduction of wholesale broadband access costs, in order to remove excessive pricing concerns in respect of IP Connect raised in the Data Services Market Inquiry Report published in December 2019. The report urged Telkom to reach an agreement over pricing within two months.
