South Africa's Telkom says no offer made yet for Cell C

Tuesday 17 November 2015 | 10:49 CET | News
Telkom is yet to make an offer to buy control of mobile operator Cell C, said Telkom CEO Sipho Maseko, denying a report that the company has had a USD 972 million bid rejected. Maseko told Reuters that he has not had any offer rejected because none was made. Maseko said he expressed an interest and asked for due diligence. Based on the outcome of the due diligence, he said he will then be able to make an offer.
