South Atlantic Cable System lands in Brazil, likely to go live in September

The South Atlantic Cable System (SACS), the first fibre line connecting Africa and South America, has now landed in Brazil. Angola Cables, which owns the undersea cable, announced that the installation of SACS was made on 23 February in the city of Fortaleza. The cable is entering its final phase of completion and is expected to go live by September .
