Wednesday 26 September 2018 | 10:47 CET | News
The Spanish government has agreed to provide EUR 130 million in grants to a total of 203 high-speed broadband projects in digital divide areas, reports Europa Press. The funds, co-financed by the EU's regional development programme Feder, are part of PEBA-NGA programme to bring 100Mbps connections to so-called "white areas". They will help increase the coverage of high-speed broadband to over 80 percent of the country, said the report.
