Spain DTT reset cost EUR 103 mln - report

Thursday 16 July 2015 | 08:45 CET | News
Spain's second major DTT migration cost around EUR 103 million, well below the estimated figure of EUR 280 million, according to industry ministry sources cited by Europa Press. The ministry ended up receiving 316,552 applications for subsidies claiming back the cost of retuning DTT aerials and has so far paid out around 76 percent of the total. The difference between the initial amount set aside and that eventually needed will be returned to the public coffers.
