Spain to award EUR 20 mln funding to 'smart building' projects

Spain's Ministry of Energy, Tourism and the Digital Agenda has announced that it will be allocating EUR 19.5 million of public funds to support at least 6 'smart building' projects in 5 autonomous communities. The funds will be made available to cities of over 200,000 inhabitants in Andalucia, Valencia, Madrid, Catalonia and Galicia and will be for use on projects to connect at least 150 buildings with IoT technology.
