Spain to lift portability freeze, ban price hikes - report

The Spanish government is set to lift the temporary suspension on fixed and mobile number portability processes imposed earlier this month as part of efforts to halt the spread of the coronavirus, reports business daily Expansion. However, under the provisions of the government's latest Royal Decree, operators will only be authorised to port numbers if the activation process doesn't require the displacement of a technician to the home or office of a subscriber to complete the installation.
